Through the coordination of our PMO and CMiShare program we have identified a number of noteworthy suggestions for our clients that have added significant value to their operation.  CMiShare is an ongoing event consisting of a series of interactive white boarding sessions conducted by various CMI consultants presenting their area of expertise.  As a result of these collaborative sessions our staff has shared ideas resulting in suggestions that can be presented to our clients.  These suggestions have differentiated CMI from other staff augmentation vendors serving our clients, helping us to establish a strategic relationship with them through a better understanding of their business and support of their contingent workforce initiatives.

Product Delivery Reduced from 5 Days to 10 Hours

CMI’s staff providing support to over 1000 developers in five countries for this client’s very complex software product proposed reengineering their software build operation.  The client agreed and this change improved the delivery time of the software product from 5 days to 10 hours.

$2.5M Savings in Software License Costs

In addition to providing technical support for this client’s infrastructure, CMI resources proposed a reconfiguration of the environment, resulting in savings of $2.5M in software license costs.

Software Delivery Time Reduced by 7200 Hours

Our staff was responsible for supporting the build, packaging and delivery of software within this client’s environments.  The team proposed and implemented automation to speed the delivery of software.  This resulted in an average decrease of 75% for time of this operation.
