Premier Global Financial Services firm leverages CMI's Professional Consulting Services to support the move to a Continuous Integration Environment

Matawan, NJ – July 22, 2010 - Vasantha Madasu, Chief Executive Officer and John Falzon, Chief Operating Officer, announced today that Configuration Management®, Inc. (CMI) was selected by a Premier Global Financial Services firm to support its transition to a new Software Configuration Management® infrastructure and Continuous Integration Environment.

CMI provided consultation to support the reengineering of our client's Software Build Environment as part of an initiative within their Software Configuration Management® (SCM) organization to implement a "best-practice" software development environment and new SCM tool infrastructure.

CMI performed an assessment of the current PVCS platform and identified opportunities for our client to optimize both the application source code control as well as the transition from PVCS to CollabNet's Subversion platform. CMI also performed an assessment of the automated build capabilities between Subversion to the Maven/Nexus products. CMI identified the issues in moving to the new tools including Subversion, Maven and Nexus. CMI presented recommendations and assisted with the implementation of those recommendations including the integration and optimization of Subversion, Maven and Nexus to support the reengineered software build environment.
