CMI Selected for Advisory Role With Global Leader of Innovative Medical Solutions

Matawan, NJ – October 19, 2010 - Vasantha Madasu, Chief Executive Officer and John Falzon, Chief Operating Officer, announced today that Configuration Management, Inc. (CMI) was selected by a worldwide leader in the design, manufacture and marketing of advanced energy-based medical systems and accessories to act as an advisor in the evaluation and selection of a Product Configuration Management Tool in support of a system to manage the configuration of products deployed to customers, including the embedded base of assets currently in the field.

The Product Configuration Management System is expected to track and manage the changes to product configurations including changes to the software, hardware subsystems, firmware, mechanical components, instruments, and external devices. The Product Configuration Management System must also track and manage the interdependencies between these configuration items (solution components). This system is expected to consist of both a software tool and process/procedures to support the tools operation and management of the deployed systems.
