Matawan, NJ – May 4, 2012 – John Falzon, Chief Operating Officer, announced today that Configuration Management, Inc. (CMI) was selected by the world leader in Business Process Outsourcing and Cloud Services for the Insurance Industry to provide strategic direction on the re-engineering of their Software Configuration Management(SCM) infrastructure and operations; which included creating enterprise wide SCM policies, upgrading tools, complete build automation, and support for continuous integration and continuous delivery.

CMI performed an assessment of the current environment and operations to develop a comprehensive project plan to support the following re-engineering efforts:

• Implement JIRA and Open Source Software to replace the existing tools as the preferred software stack to drive the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) forward.

• Automate the build, packaging, and deployment process for the software applications.

• Develop a standard branching strategy and cleanup plan of the existing structure in version control.

• Adopt other tools into the infrastructure such as Atlassian Tools Suite.
